Pratas Island possesses unique natural ecology and man-made sights. We should plan and develop it properly to turn Pratas Island into a tourist resort and an ecological preservation area, making it a jewel among islands. First, we should survey the area's natural resources (plenty of coral reefs and marine animals), study the experience of the Great Barrier Reef Ocean Park in Australia, and develop a marine preservation area. We should also try to mitigate the island's disadvantages (inadequate water and electricity, small size), and develop it aggressively. Only if we make the preservation of natural resources our starting point can the Pratas Island be developed successfully over the long term.
