Coral and Fish
　　There are many species of tropical fish, seaweed, shells and coral in the sea area of more than 300 square kilometers around Pratas Island. The more coral atolls there are, the more kinds of tropical fish are found. Tropical fishes are very beautiful. For example, the Labridae have colors like a rainbow, the Parrotfish wears a colorful shirt, and there are also many starfish, shells, lobsters and crabs. Sharks also frequent the area, and are often seen by divers.
　　The diverse natural resources and gorgeous scenery of Pratas Island urge us to treasure and preserve them more carefully. However, fishing activities damaged the coral reefs by poisoning, blasting and other illegal methods. Moreover, the greenhouse effect has caused bleaching of the coral. In order to save the precious natural environment, we should promote environmental protection and restore coral reefs more aggressively.
